Andrew Henderson
Andrew Henderson is a partner at Macfarlanes. He advises on all aspects of financial services regulation and risk management, including issues arising from Brexit, governance, senior manager accountability, conduct risk issues, inducements and the Senior Managers and Certification Regime and MiFID II.
Andrew works closely with colleagues in M&A and capital markets on financial services transactions. Andrew has acted three times as an FCA "skilled person", and he regularly advises on issues concerning dispute resolution and investigations into regulatory processes.
Andrew has contributed to numerous academic and practitioner texts since 2000, including most recently Gore-Browne on EU Company Law (Lexis: 2020) and Financial Services Law (4th ed) (OUP: 2018) and was formerly a Cambridge University college law lecturer. Andrew chaired the committee of legal experts that contributed to the Dormant Assets Scheme: A Blueprint for Expansion Report (2019).
