David Tsai

David Tsai is an associate in the Toronto office of Miller Thomson's labour and employment group. He practises all aspects of labour and employment law, including: discipline and dismissal; employment standards; occupational health and safety; workplace safety and insurance; collective bargaining; human rights; and wrongful dismissal. David has also advised clients on labour and employment issues arising from corporate reorganisations, and mergers and acquisitions.

David has represented clients before a variety of courts and tribunals, including boards of arbitration, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, employment standards referees and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, David summered, articled and practised labour and employment law in the Toronto office of a global law firm. David also has experience working in the management teams of two other major law firms, specialising in legal recruitment, compliance and other professional development initiatives.

David attended McMaster University for his undergraduate studies, where he earned a combined Arts and Science and Biochemistry degree in 2004. He obtained his law degree from the University of Toronto in 2008.
