Lia Alizia

Lia Alizia works for Makarim & Taira S. as a partner in the corporate commercial and litigation department. Two of her major areas of expertise are Indonesian employment law and intellectual property rights (IPR). She has handled mass terminations of employment and assisted several major multinational companies by reviewing and updating their employment documents.

Lia has authored and co-authored a number of significant publications and often speaks at local and overseas seminars and training programmes on employment matters. She is a registered sworn translator from English to Indonesian and an IPR consultant.

Lia is a recommended lawyer for employment in Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2014 as well as an Indonesian employment expert selected by employment law experts from the UK. She has also been identified as an "IP Star" by Managing Intellectual Property, Legal Media Group for 2014.
