Luke Bowery
Luke Bowery is a partner in the employment team at Burges Salmon and has over 15 years' experience of advising major employers in the public and private sector on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law related matters.
Luke has particular expertise in large-scale redundancy and restructuring projects across multiple sites and jurisdictions, including advising a number of FTSE 100 and 250 listed companies on various re-organisations. Other experience includes acting in complex discrimination and whistleblowing employment tribunal proceedings and providing strategic advice on board-level issues such as executive appointments and termination as well as gender pay gap reporting, off-payroll working and the employment response to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Luke speaks regularly on employment matters, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association. Luke is described in legal directories as "an excellent lawyer with wide-ranging knowledge that he applies in a pragmatic and commercially focused way" and "incredibly knowledgeable and experienced".
