Mark Carley
Mark Carley has been researching and writing about international employment law and practice for over 35 years, in roles including editor of European Industrial Relations Review (1989-96), European Industrial Relations Observatory (1996-2002), European Works Councils Bulletin (1996-2005) and European Employment Review (2006-2010), and Associate Fellow of the Industrial Relations Research Unit, Warwick Business School (2000-2023), as well as acting as a consultant to organisations such as the European Commission, European Parliament, Eurofound, Organisation for Economic Co-operation Development and International Labour Organization.
He was consultant editor of the international section of the Brightmine employment reference manual from 2007 to 2016. He is the original author of the Belgium, France, Netherlands and Poland country guides, and the current updating author of the Belgium, Canada, France and Ireland country guides.
