Matthew Towers
Matthew is a senior associate at Hogan Lovells in London. He has a broad practice, advising multinational corporations on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
Matthew provides commercial, business-focused advice on the employment aspects of complex international transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and business restructuring. Alongside large-scale transactions, he also advises on day-to-day queries arising from all stages of the employee relationship, from recruitment through to termination and post-termination issues. His more complex areas of in-depth knowledge include senior executive hires and terminations; individual and collective redundancies; and TUPE issues on large outsourcings and property transactions. An experienced litigator, Matthew defends high-value claims such as unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination in the Employment Tribunal.
