Michael Hayles

Michael Hayles is a partner in the pensions team at Burges Salmon. Michael advises on a variety of pensions matters and has experience with defined-benefit, defined-contribution and hybrid schemes and works with both pension trustees and corporates. He is a specialist pensions adviser in relation to staff transfers from the public sector (including in relation to PPP/PFI and outsourcing contracts) and in particular the application of "Fair Deal". Michael has significant experience of all aspects of pensions law but with a particular specialism in corporate pensions advice and advice in connection with public sector pensions (in particular in an outsourcing context where TUPE applies).
