Natasha Smith
Natasha Smith joined Miller Thomson after completing the JD Program at the University of Windsor. Prior to commencing her law degree, Natasha received a BA in communications from the University of Calgary.
While a student, Natasha was actively involved in the Windsor Law community. Throughout the years, she volunteered at Community Legal Aid as a caseworker, where she provided legal assistance to students and lower income members of the community. She also served as a junior editorial assistant for the University of Windsor's Law Review. In addition, Natasha volunteered with the University of Windsor's External Outreach Committee, serving meals at the local mission and providing computer assistance to the elderly at the Centre for Seniors. Natasha served as a project supervisor for Pro Bono Students Canada where she headed up a team of students in providing not-for-profit entities with assistance in their corporate governance needs, including incorporations and the drafting of by-laws.
Natasha has participated in several moots, including the University of Windsor's Zuber moot.
Natasha has a keen interest in corporate law and gained practical experience working throughout her undergraduate studies as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm in Calgary, Alberta.
In her spare time, Natasha participates in intramural basketball and enjoys dance, yoga and running.
