Steph Dempsey

Steph Dempsey worked with carers for over 17 years, and in the field of carers and employment for over 15 years. She joined Carers UK in 2002 as operational project manager for the Action for Carers and Employment partnership, which developed and tested support in and into paid work for carers. She was involved in the development and writing/editing of the City & Guilds "Learning for living" programme and has developed and delivered training to employers and key partners.

Before joining Carers UK, Steph was involved in establishing two carers and employment projects for Surrey County Council and Kirklees Council and developed and delivered back to work training for carers.
