Syahdan Z. Aziz

Syahdan Z. Aziz is a partner at SSEK Legal Consultants and is experienced in all aspects of Indonesian labour and employment law. This includes advising corporate clients on severance matters, personnel policies and work rules, employment contracts, including contracts for foreign workers, secondment arrangements, labour disputes and social security programs.

Syahdan is particularly active in advising companies on labour and employment matters in Indonesia's energy and natural resources sector.

Syahdan's recent experience includes advising a global payments platform on termination issues in Indonesia, advising a large Indonesian energy company on employment issues related to a contemplated M&A transaction, and assisting an oil and gas services company with expatriate employment issues.

Syahdan received his Bachelor of Laws in economic law from the University of Indonesia in 2005. He earned his Master of Laws in 2009 after completing a one-year programme in international economic and business law at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Syahdan is a licensed attorney and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi).
