Barclays: success through inclusion (part 1)

In July 2001, Barclays launched a charter for equality and diversity, designed to integrate these elements into all it does as a business and as an employer. To achieve this, the bank has implemented leading-edge equal opportunities policies, undertaken extensive leader-led diversity training and integrated equality measures into company systems and processes, especially in relation to performance assessment.
