Delivering a winning disability programme at B&Q
Last year, B&Q's work to support and recruit disabled people led to the company winning the Business in the Community award for Innovation, and, for the second year running, the national Queen Elizabeth Foundation's EASE award (ease of access, service and employment for disabled people). In addition, B&Q's efforts to encourage a diverse workforce, particularly its proactive response to disability, helped the company win the Retail Week Employer of the Year award.
