France: Equality accord at Peugeot Citroën

Management and trade unions at the French motor manufacturer Peugeot Citroën have concluded an innovative agreement promoting equality between men and women at the workplace. Recognising that many jobs in the automobile sector do not traditionally appeal to women, the agreement aims to make jobs more attractive to women, further their career development, ensure equal pay with men, promote equal access to training and improve working conditions.
