Hyder maintains long-term partnership

Summary

Hyder, formerly Welsh Water, and its recognised trades unions - Unison, GMB, T&GWU and AEEU - have operated a partnership approach to industrial relations since 1990. This fresh start, whereby both sides moved away from the adversarialism of the past, followed on from privatisation in 1989, and was adopted as a means of motivating and involving employees.
