Land Registry ponders: freedom or control?

A competency framework was introduced by the Land Registry during 1996/1997 to improve performance and has subsequently been extended for use in recruitment, development planning and progression.

Operating from 28 business units, the Land Registry is responsible for the registration of all land in England and Wales. In addition to a head office in London, it has local offices in Tunbridge Wells, Weymouth, Plymouth, Swansea and many other towns and cities.
