Swiss Life (UK): Using competencies in challenging circumstances

Swiss Life UK's competency framework has proved useful in performance management processes and more recently has also helped in redundancy selection processes as the Swiss parent company has chosen to run down its UK operations.

Currently, Swiss Life (UK) is in a "run-off" situation as a result of being closed to new business since July 2003.
