Using outsourcing to reposition HR at Royal Bank of Scotland
Is there a boom in outsourcing HR services? BP Amoco's announcement last year of its $600 million outsourcing deal with the American company Exult garnered much press coverage and put Westminster City Council's contract with Capita in the shade (See Privatising Personnel ). Yet talk of a rapid expansion in the HR outsourcing market seems to be premature.
