Virgin Media restructures from 23 pension schemes to one

A period of restructuring and mergers between 2006 and 2008 left the newly created Virgin Media organisation with more than 20 defined-contribution pension schemes and a wide range of contribution structures. A company commitment to "fix the people fundamentals" provided the focus for Virgin Media to replace these myriad arrangements with a single plan.
