Manufacturers' liability insurance costs on the rise
Average employers' liability insurance premiums for manufacturers increased by 23% over 2003/04, according to new research from EEF, the manufacturers' organisation.
The EEF notes that 'it also appears that the manufacturing sector is faring significantly worse than the all-industry average, which, according to the Association of British Insurers is in the order of 15%'.
