NHS Employers joins campaign against domestic violence
NHS Employers, the health service employers' organisation, has joined the Corporate Alliance Against Domestic Violence - a group of major UK employers aiming to fight domestic violence and reduce its impact on the workplace.
As part of its participation in the scheme, NHS Employers has published online guidance for employers and staff who know or may be victims of domestic violence.
Other members of the CAADV, which was launched in March 2005, include Body Shop International, BBC, AOL Time Warner, KPMG and Vodafone. In total, the CAADV represents more than two million UK workers.
