Tribunal update: Employee abused Sainsbury's discount card with computer game purchases
HR & Compliance Centre provides summaries of three recent employment tribunal rulings, as well as the full transcripts of these interesting decisions. This week's cases involve:
- an employer that was wrong to impose the same disciplinary sanction on a junior employee as his superior;
- a Sainsbury’s employee who was fairly dismissed for abusing his store discount card with bulk computer game purchases; and
- an employee who was constructively dismissed when his employer failed to inform him about job vacancies.
