  • Withdrawn claim can not be reinstated   In Caldwell Hardware (UK) Ltd v Hooper EAT/0151/06, the Employment Appeal Tribunal held that an employment tribunal did not have jurisdiction to reinstate a withdrawn claim where an individual argued that he had withdrawn because tribunal staff had told his solicitors that he could not pursue the claim due to his status as a bankrupt.
