Benchmarking - HR Metrics

The Benchmarking - HR Metrics resource has been designed to help you find data on HR policy, practice and performance and use it to inform business decisions. The tool enables you to tailor our HR metrics data and to generate bespoke reports on how your organisation compares.

All data published to Benchmarking - HR Metrics comes from the survey research programme, which covers all aspects of HR practice. Our survey programme includes a mix of annual surveys on key HR metrics (eg absence, labour turnover, benefits and allowances, etc) and timely surveys on topics where HR practice changes more gradually.

Accessing Benchmarking data

Access the data by navigating by topic, searching, or browsing key Benchmarking questions.

We categorise all our Benchmarking data questions under category and subcategory. Click a subcategory heading to see all relevant Benchmarking data, including selected "key benchmarks" - the most useful data on that topic.

Benchmarking question pages

Each Benchmarking question is presented on a separate page, with the headline results provided in charts and tables, or as text.

The "Refine" button allows you to drill down into the data for each question, and filter by one or more factors such as sector and organisation size.

An "Additional information" panel provides contextual information about the parent survey of the question, with a link to the relevant survey landing page.

Above this panel you will find a range of icons that allow you to download your report as an Excel spreadsheet, print it or share it with colleagues or across your social networks.
