Why are some of the resources categorised under an industry?
Some of the Survey analysis resources contain content specific to a certain industry or industries. Where this is the case, the "About this resource" panel on the right hand side of the page lists the relevant industries.
We use a two-level industry-classification system that is broadly based on the UK Standard Industrial Classification 2007 as set out by the Office for National Statistics. All industries fall under one of the three top level industries: manufacturing and production; private-sector services; and public services.
Use Where's my industry? to find the industrial classification that matches your organisation most closely.
