Jesús Gimeno

Jesús Gimeno is Of Counsel of the employment practice of Simmons & Simmons in Spain, advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues. He advises international and local clients on international restructuring operations, employment aspects of cross-border M&A processes and due diligence reports. Jesús also has extensive expertise in employment litigation, dealing with all types of conflicts, whether collective or individual, in relation to senior executives, mid management and blue-collar workers, and with the social security and employment authorities. Among his areas of experience is the analysis of different situations that arise from senior executives, directors and top management, including the preparation and negotiation of contracts and remuneration systems. Jesús has experience in dealing with employee representation bodies at local level and with European Works Councils.

Jesús advises a wide range of national and international clients from start-up companies to multinational corporations across all of the firm's core sectors (financial institutions, asset management, investment funds, automotive, TMT, life sciences and the pharmaceutical industry).

Jesús has worked his entire career for Anglo-American law firms. Jesus joined Simmons & Simmons as Of Counsel in 2018. Jesús is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
