Legislation allowing trade union learning representatives time off to carry out duties comes into force
Implementation date: 27 April 2003
The Employment Act 2002, section 43 amends the
Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 to introduce a new
statutory right to time off for trade union learning representatives to ensure
that they are adequately trained to carry out their duties. The Order
can
