Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Consultation by Employers and Miscellaneous Amendment) Regulations 2006 come into force

Implementation date: 6 April 2006

The Regulations introduce a statutory requirement upon employers to consult with prospective and active members of pension schemes and their representatives before making major or significant changes to future pension arrangements. The Regulations initially apply to undertakings with 150 or more employees. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
