Period of self-isolation reduced to 10 days

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Self-Isolation and Linked Households) (England) Regulations 2020 (SI 2020/1518) provide that the self-isolation period for individuals who are required to self-isolate as a result of being a close contact of a person with coronavirus (COVID-19) is reduced from 14 days to 10 days.

The Regulations also amend the point from which the period of self-isolation begins.
