Employers called to account over people management policies

Employers are set to come under pressure to report publicly on their human capital management (HCM) initiatives following publication of a final report¹ from the Accounting for People taskforce.

As expected, the Department of Trade and Industry-sponsored taskforce, chaired by Denise Kingsmill, rejected "prescriptive or legislative solutions", but has set out a series of recommendations aimed at making public accountability the norm.
