HSE charges director over three deaths

The deaths of three building workers in Hull two-and-a-half years ago have finally resulted in the HSE laying charges against the property developer and its managing director involved in the incident.

The three men - David Jowett, Tony Laughton and Shaughan Walsh - were killed when a parapet wall collapsed on 3 April 2000 during refurbishment of a five-storey mill building in Cleveland Street, Hull.
