Poland: Government wants to prevent older workers from claiming pensions

The Polish Government announced plans in August 2010 to prevent people from receiving state pensions while earning income from work.

The state old-age retirement pension is normally payable to men (with at least 25 years' contributions) from the age of 65 and women (with at least 20 years' contributions) from the age of 60.
