Foreign Office gives stamp of approval to work-life balance
Advances in flexible-working legislation
have provided the Foreign and Commonwealth Office with an opportunity to
formalise and promote flexible-working practices, helping thwart the effects of
the department's long hours culture.

family-friendly and to counter the effects of long working hours, the Foreign
and Commonwealth Office (FCO) introduced a formal, flexible working
application process for all employees in April 2003. |
