Adamson v B & L Cleaning Services Ltd [1995] IRLR 193 EAT (0 other reports)
An employer is entitled to expect that an employee will not compete with it for contracts with existing customers, holds the EAT in Adamson v B&L Cleaning Services Ltd. In this case the employee's insistence upon freedom, while continuing in employment, to tender in competition with his employer for a cleaning contract currently held by the employer but up for renewal, was a breach of his implied duty to give faithful service.
