Firefighters' Pension Scheme (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2009 comes into force

The Order amends the Firefighters' Pension Scheme (Wales) Order 2007. The amendments provide for, among other things, the calculation of ill-health awards payable in the case of a firefighter member who is entitled to two pensions. The Order can be viewed on the OPSI website.
