Reforms to workplace pensions

The Pension Schemes Act 2026, received Royal Assent on 29 April 2026.

The Act introduces wide-ranging reforms for UK pension schemes.

On 14 July 2026, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) published an updated roadmap detailing the planned timetable for a phased implementation of the reforms through to the mid-2030s.
