Ageism is most common form of discrimination
More people reported suffering age discrimination than any other form of discrimination (gender, disability, sexuality, ethnicity or religion) in the first national survey of age-related prejudice*.
Some 29% said they had been treated unfairly because of their age, compared with 24% who cited gender, the next most prevalent form of discrimination.
