DDA does not shape disability policy

Employers set up disability policies in order to promote equal opportunities rather than to meet their legal obligations, according to the latest IRS survey on disability at work1.

The survey found that just one employer in five regards compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) as a major reason for establishing a disability policy.
