Deaths at work toll reaches record low
The reporting year 2002/03 could witness the lowest number of people killed at work on record. Provisional HSE figures for the nine months from 1 April 2002 show that 161 workers (employees and self employed) suffered a work-related fatal injury, 31 fewer than during the corresponding period in 2001.
