Debts don't daunt all undergraduates
A large-scale survey into the experience of recent graduates confirms the findings of IRS's forthcoming study (see Growing uncertainty over graduate vacancies ) that the labour market is becoming a harsher place for graduate jobseekers.
According to a poll of 500 graduates for the annual NatWest 2003 student money matters report1, the proportion winning a confirmed job offer before graduation has fallen from 34% in 2002 to 28% this year.
