Employees close to revolt over constant organisational change

HR practitioners are anticipating a possible shopfloor backlash as restructuring and changes in working practices continue to gather pace, a major IRS study suggests.

A survey of more than 400 HR practitioners, undertaken as part of IRS HR Prospects 2006, found that restructuring is the most challenging issue facing employers - ahead of traditional preoccupations with recruitment, retention and absence management.
