Ethnic minorities in the labour market
Ethnic minority groups are being overlooked
for jobs and are being paid lower wages, despite improvements in education and
qualifications, according to new research published by the Joseph Rowntree
Foundation.

10-year period, from 1991 to 2001, people from those groups continued to
experience lower rates of employment than white people.
