Few NHS employers assess their stress risks

"Time is running out" for the two-thirds of NHS employers identified in recent research¹ that have not effectively addressed stress in their workplaces, argues the organisation, NHS Employers.

This group of trusts will not only experience the impact of stress at the sharp end, in terms of the cost of sickness absence, but also expose themselves to greater risks of financial and criminal liabilities, the body believes.
