Gaining recognition: latest round-up of union deals
In the heady climate created by the introduction of the
legal right to recognition, unions have secured hundreds of new recognition
deals - mostly without resorting to the statutory provisions - finds the latest
IRS round-up.
Key points
Since the legal right to union recognition came into
effect in June 2000, IRS has monitored 264 new recognition deals covering some
85,000 workers.
