Gender pay gap greater in London

The gender pay gap for women working full time in London is as high as 25%, compared with 18% nationally, according to research published by the Greater London Authority for the Mayor of London1. The report forms part of a programme of research into the role of women in the London economy.

For all employees, the analysis estimates that the gender pay gap in London is 16.3%.
