International study highlights link between absence and bullying

Employees who are victims of bullying or harassment at work are significantly more likely to take sick leave than are other workers, and their absences last longer than average, finds a survey of 30,000 people in 31 European countries1.

The survey is the latest in a five-yearly series conducted by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions.
