Ireland: Average industrial wages rise by 5.3%
The Central Statistics Office (CSO) has recently published its estimates of industrial earnings over the year to December 2006. Figures indicate that the average gross weekly earnings of industrial workers in all sectors rose by 5.3%, to €623.69, in December 2006, compared with €592.56 in December 2005.
