Ireland: Survey finds fall in union membership
Research published in September 2010 indicates that trade union density in Ireland has fallen to just over one-third of the workforce.
The findings come from a national workplace survey (external website) of 5,100 employees, carried out during 2009 by the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI).
