Italy: Report on accidents and illnesses at work
On 23 January, the National Association of People Disabled due to Workplace Accidents (Anmil) issued its first national report on workplace accidents and occupational illnesses. According to the report, 1,141 workers died as a result of accidents at work in the first nine months of 2006, 14 fewer than in the same period in 2005.
