Italy: Union survey examines working conditions in metalworking
In March 2008, the Fiom-Cgil trade union federation published the findings of a survey of working and living conditions in the metalworking industry, the largest research project of this type carried out in Italy.
The metalworking union federation surveyed around 100,000 workers employed by some 4,000 engineering and metals companies across Italy.
