Netherlands: Labour shortages may push up pay

While the unemployment rate stands at just over 5%, the number of job vacancies in the Netherlands is at an all-time high in early 2007. The imminent retirement of the "baby boom" generation means that some sectors will lose up to 25% of their workforce.
